Pet Food Pantry is now closed

Thank You, Area Donors !

The Corona Crisis Pet Food Pantry is closed now that people
are beginning to be called back to work.

Thanks to all the generous folks in this area – and to companies including PetsWay and Nestle Purina.

AWA was able to help more than 600 pet owners during April. On four days during the month, AWA gave out free pet food to residents of Butler, Carter, Ripley and Wayne counties who were suffering a virus-induced cash crunch.

AWA board members and volunteers put in more than 190 hours of work on the project, which has ended now that businesses are beginning to reopen and people are being called back to work. A big “thank you” to all the people who donated pet food and/or cash! We literally could not have done it without you.
